tser asked: I've been bitten by lots of snakes; it doesn't always mean something is wrong. Some snakes are just bitey, especially snakes that aren't handled much, and certain species. I've been bitten by ball pythons a few times; they leave a horseshoe shaped ring of punctures from their tiny teeth. If they tag you quickly, it doesn't hurt too much (less than a bee sting in my experience), but the punctures can have a "bruised" feeling in the area that can last a few days.
Yeah I’ve heard the tiny teeth can be one of the worst parts - my friend got bit by a snake and it ended up biting him twice somehow (I believe it like, let go and repositioned) and he looked like he had poison ivy on his hand from all the little scabs O_O
(PS: I got a lot more responses than I thought I would so I’ll be publishing all y’all’s snake bite stories over the next day or two)
